Privacy

MarcaFaro may retain the search term, matching mode, chosen Nice class, result count and timestamp to improve the trademark research experience. Anonymous search logs are not directly linked to IP addresses, device fingerprints or session IDs. Retention and periodic removal of anonymous logs are managed separately during the pilot.

Daily free search allowance

To enforce daily free search limits, we use a randomly generated HttpOnly, SameSite cookie valid for 30 days. The server keeps only a hash of the identifier, quota date and number of searches used; IP addresses and device fingerprints are not recorded for this purpose. Without an account, this cookie distinguishes a browser, not a uniquely identifiable person. Daily limits reset on Türkiye time. Browser localStorage displays remaining searches but does not determine server-side quotas.

Free account and monitoring

When accounts are enabled, we process the email address, a secure password hash, an HttpOnly session cookie, and optionally a phone number without SMS verification. Phone numbers cannot be used to sign in. When Google sign-in is enabled, a verified Google subject identifier is stored; existing password accounts are not silently linked by email. Google Identity Services processes identity data under its own terms. Searches performed while signed in may be linked to account history, which users can clear. A monitored mark is saved only when the user explicitly selects the monitoring option. Monitoring is refreshed daily; email and external notifications are not currently sent. Account features remain in the pilot stage.

Search result cards display up to three applicant names as published in official bulletins. Postal addresses and applicant identifier codes are not shown; historical applicants are not proof of current ownership or registration. Preliminary similarity reports continue to hide applicant names. Applicant and representative counts are deduplicated statistics. No search results does not establish that a mark is registrable.

Pilot contact

When contacting us by email, the name, address and message content are used only to evaluate and respond to the inquiry. More detailed account and portfolio data policies will be published during the beta stage.

Portfolio data

Our design principle is not to use private client or brand-portfolio data for general-purpose model training. Technical safeguards and detailed contractual terms will be finalized before production release.
